A two-day annual conclave of Insurance Information and Ratemaking Forum of Asia is being hosted in Hyderabad from May 26 being organized by Insurance Information Bureau (IIB) of India.

The body of insurance analytics and rate-making bodies will have its conclave for the first time in India. The delegates from regulatory agencies and insurance firms besides the top of management of insurance data bodies from six Asian member countries were expected to attend IIRFA 2016.

R. Raghavan, Bureau`s Chief Executive briefing presspersons here on Wednesday said some themes on which deliberations were rate making and insurance analytics, financial inclusion in insurance and disaster management and financing. Using big data analytics and internal linkages between microfinance and micro-insurance also formed part of the conclave.

T. S. Vijayan, chairman of Insurance Regulatory Development Authority India and IIB said they would inaugurate the conclave on may 27^th.

Mr. Raghavan said IIB was able to impress the forum the need to hold the conference in India. The host of the conclave is Thailand which would be hosting out except Japan and Korea and also Asain countries behind in acquiring the assessing data.
