Watch: A Sikh Man Removes His Turban To Save A Dog That Is Drowning In Water

This man’s good decision to save a dog that is drowning makes you feel proud of Sikhs. Sarwan Singh and his friends noticed a dog was drowning in a nearby irrigation canal in Punjab. Instead of ignoring it, Sarwan and his friends attempt to save the dog is awesome.

In the video, we can see Sarwan Singh trying to save the dog out of drowning in the water. If you clearly observe, Sarwan Singh isn’t wearing ‘Turban’, a cloth that covers their head.

He took it off and tied it to the dog to drag it out. After several attempts, he finally managed to get the dog out of the water. There is a rule of Sikhism that one can only remove their turban only at home or while bathing.

Though he broke the religious protocol, he saved the life of a dog. “The moment I started taking off my turban, people watching around were shocked. They thought I was disrespecting my faith, but what was important at that point was to save the animal’s life,” Sarwan Singh said.

The video has gone viral on social media within a short span of time.
