Big / Large Eyes

Large eyes not only look appealing but also are the mark of someone who is receptive, very open-minded, with endless intellectual curiosity. If you are blessed with large eyes, you always have bright ideas that make you well suited to be a creative person. You also pay heed to your dreams and aura. Passion defines you, and a general feeling of warmth surrounds you, making you a very approachable person. However, because you seem to be a genuine person, people easily take advantage of you.

Small eyes

People with small eyes are precise and are extremely watchful to details, which may also indicate a perfectionist and attentive person. They are skilled people with the sharp mind.

If you have small eyes, then it indicates that you observant and loves to gain expertise over matters that interest you.  When something really interests you, you give it your heart and soul. You are an articulate person, focussed & determined with far-sighted vision. You can achieve whatever you set your mind onto. However, because of your analytical nature, you don’t trust people easily and can often be misunderstood as cold and arrogant.

Look at the corner and center of your eyes. Observe how the eyelids curve around them. Almond-shaped eyes are those that sharpen gradually, giving an almond-like shape to your eyes. On the other hand, rounded eyes are very wide in the center and curve rather abruptly.

Almond-shaped eyes are often prized for their exotic and mystical appearance. If you possess these, then you are a very attentive and cautious person. You are known to keep your cool in the worst of the situations. You are self-disciplined, know how to manage your urges and have a very balanced outlook towards life. You don’t usually show your emotions, though deep down you are warm and compassionate.

Rounded Eyes:

The round eye is highly curved upper and lower lids. People with Round eyes are emotional, speak their minds easily and tend to be dramatic. If you have round eyes, you often get carried away by your emotions and find it tough to keep your thoughts and feelings to yourself. Fortunately, you also possess a charm which endears people easily.

Distance between Eyes:

Your eye shape can also be defined by the distance between your eyes. Ideally, the distance between your eyes should be one eye-width. People who have less than that tend to have close-set eyes and those who have more than that, they are said to have wide-set eyes.

If the distance between your eyes is exactly one eye-width, it means you are a very balanced person, with a good outlook towards life, and a healthy attitude toward people.

Close Set Eyes

People with close-set eyes are very traditional by nature. They love their roots, old traditions, and history.  They like to follow every little custom of their ancestors and family. Unfortunately, this also means they are very resistant, even stressed, by small changes in their lives.  They love to know things in depth, even if you are telling a story. They are also much focused, disciplined, detail-minded people, prone to be a bit short-tempered, but ultimately very successful.

Wide Set Eyes

People with wide-set eyes are usually adaptable, flexible and tolerant with their broad perspective of life. They are extremely adventurous and experimental. They are innovative thinkers and cannot easily stick to a routine. They find love and success in areas where there is a sense of freedom and liberty.

Prominent eyes are often called protruding or bulging eyes, and look as if they are coming out of the face, while deep-set eyes form a bit of a hollow, and have a sunken appearance.

Upward slanting eyes are also referred to as Cat eyes. In this type of eyes, the outer corner of an eye is higher than the inner corner. If you are lucky enough to have them, then it can mean you are a very ambitious, optimistic, curious and determined person. You like to achieve what you have set your eyes on! You are often entertaining and quick-witted, which is why people love to hang around with you. The upward slanting eyes also display an opportunistic individual and somebody who gets what he wants.

Downward Slanting Eyes

Downward slanting eyes are also referred to as Droopy eyes. In this type of eyes, the outside corner of the eye is lower than the inward corner. People with downward slanting eyes don’t trust people easily and have a closed circle of friends. They have a pessimistic streak, which often makes it difficult for them to take any decision themselves. Their self-confidence is dwindling and are easily dominated. They can’t say NO easily and can get very needy and brooding. The silver lining here, though, is that they are very easy to get along with, and often make friends for a lifetime.
