Game Of Thrones Making Video: Behind The Scenes Of “Battle Of The Bastards”

The most rated Game Of Thrones Series sixth season finished this weekend with the eagerly-anticipated episode “Battle of the Bastards”. The battle that took up much of episode 9 certainly lived up to expectations.

The 9th episode directed by Miguel Sapochnik is brilliant, frantic and included more action scenes with a huge battle background. Game of Thrones has released a behind-the-scenes video of the “Battle of the Bastards,” and it’s full of interesting facts.

“As soon as we wrote episode nine, we knew that it was going to have to operate on a scale that we’ve never operated on before. All of it is action, with almost no dialogue,” Weiss explains.

They shot that face-beating scene for 10 hours. In all, the shoot took 25 days and used 500 extras, 80 horses, 65 stunt actors, and four different camera crews. Iwan Rheon, who plays Ramsay, says he “always wanted to do a scene” with Jon Snow for a role he originally auditioned for.
