Railway Mininster Suresh Prabhu Did What No Other Minister Has Ever Done, Twitter Applauds!
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu surprisingly travelled in a ‘local’ train and interacted with Co-Passengers. Prabhu, who attended an event at the Central Railway’s prestigious Matunga Workshop, boarded the local train at Currey Road station and alighted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST). He was also got invited to a wedding by a passenger. A passenger gave him a wedding invitation and requested the minister to accept it.
Suresh Prabhu is doing his level best to improve the services offered by the Indian Railways surprised by travelling in a local train on Thursday. During the journey, the co-travellers complained to him about everything the problems faced by them.
Elevated Corridors To Mumbai Local Trains:
Suresh Prabhu announced elevated corridors between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) and Panvel and Churchgate and Virar in the city. While speaking to reporters at the secretariat he said that Maharashtra will become the first state to work jointly with the Railways in this way. He also added “I met people inside the train, and I also got thousands of suggestions and complaints from them. We try to address most of them.”
