Have your cell phone was accidentally dropped in the water or swimming pool or in the toilet? Is that your favourite phone? Don’t worry. There is a chance of getting back your phone into normal condition. People usually think getting phone wet means you have to replace or change it. No need of doing that. If you are fast enough, you might be able to save the phone.

Here are few steps to follow to save your wet phone:

1. Take the phone out of the water as soon as possible.

2. Dismantle all the parts like battery, sim card memory card.

3. Dry it with a vacuum cleaner but not with a hair dryer.

4. Now assemble the phone after it gets dried.

5. Use a substance with a high affinity for drawing out moisture like rice. Put the Phone into a sealed bag full of Rice for the next three days. The rice will absorb the remaining moisture.

6. After 3 days, open the rice bag and take the phone out. Now switch on your phone. It will get started.

Remember, this might not work all the times, but increases the chances of your phone surviving of a water disaster.
