‘Srimanthudu’ Team Gets Notices From Hyderabad City Civils Court

Hyderabad City Civils court issued notices to Mahesh Babu‘s Srimanthudu team and Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, for allegedly violating the Copyright Act. Writer Sharath Chandra had filed a petition alleging that the Srimanthudu movie makers and Hrithik Roshan who is planning to remake the movie in Hindi copied his novel Chachchenta Prema.

Court Notices to Srimanthudu team

Sharath Chandra said that the novel Chachentha Prema was published in Swathi magazine in 2012. City Civil Court in Hyderabad has taken up Sharath Chandra’s case and the third additional judge Singareddy had issued notices and the court sent notices to director Koratala Siva and the producers of the film.

The writer said he planned to make it a movie with Samudrala as director, but it did not take off. Senior lawyers V R Machavaram and Pavani Sivakumar had taken up the case of Sharat Chandra. The writer has also requested the Court to stay the remake of this film in Hindi, which will star Hrithik Roshan.

The court issued notices asking them to reply by March 4.
