UP CM Akhilesh Yadav Discharges Eight Ministers Seeking Image Makeover for Government

Chief Minister of  Uttar Pradesh seems to be all set to seek an image makeover for his Samajwadi Party government. This weekend the young politician of Uttar Pradesh is intending to induct new faces into the ministries after discharging eight ministers as a part of for a major reshuffle. Sources close to the Akhilesh Yadav claimed, CM of UP axed down non-performers after carrying on a detailed assessment of all ministries in the state.

Political pundits are exacting that this move of Akhilesh makes it clear that Samajwadi Party is gearing up for upcoming Uttar Pradesh state assembly elections due in 2017. A senior Samajwadi Party leader said that Akhilesh Yadav would seek to equipoise caste and community representation in his council of ministers.

It is also been said that this rearrangement of council ministers by Mr. Yadav he is the authority of the UP government turning down all the speculations of being functioned under the leadership of his father and SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. Added to this it is being contemplated that uncle’s of UP CM and brothers of SP chief Ram Gopal Yadav and Shivpal Yadav have out of proportion body of work.

Apart from this UP government has failed to control the crimes which have been rocking the state over a couple of years due to the multiple power centres which has directed Akhilesh Yadav government into a confusedness. Hence the current move of UP CM is all about creating a new image and identity for his government to gear up for 2017 state assembly elections.

This move of SP is conceived of making its ground base strong in the state prior to the elections that too when the state has to compete with a national party like BJP. During the last year elections, BJP party was successful in winning 71 of UP’s 80 seats. It is also been reported the Junior Yadav is all worried about his anti-incumbency sentiment, who took charge as chief minister in 2012 on a promise of better law and order in India’s most populous state.

Failure of implementation of government schemes across the state, primarily in rural areas is throwing major challenge for junior Akhilesh. A government source added that while among all discharged ministers over five of them are of cabinet rank who were stripped of their portfolios would be functioning as ministers without charge.
