Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO to Visit Mumbai Tomorrow to Address at ‘Future Unleashed’ Event

Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft will visit India on November 5 to deliver a keynote address at ‘Microsoft’s Future Unleashed’ Event in Mumbai. As part of the Event, Satya Nadella will meet industry leaders like Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, Axis Bank head Shikha Sharma and Tata Starbucks CEO Avani Davda during his one-day visit to India.

The Microsoft’s Future Unleashed event that is going to happen in Mumbai tomorrow will bring together 3,000 industry thought leaders, enterprise heads, developers and entrepreneurs all at one place. The India-born CEO will deliver a keynote address at the Event regarding latest innovations in the digital world.

“Satya is in India on a one-day visit to Mumbai to deliver a keynote at Microsoft’s Future Unleashed. During the day, he is expected to meet key industry leaders like Anand Mahindra, Shikha Sharma, Mukund Rajan, Brand Custodian & Spokesperson, Tata Group, among others,” Microsoft India General Manager (Marketing and Operations) Tyler Bryson told PTI.

During the Event, Nadella will also be meeting key government stakeholders and Microsoft customers and partners. As we all know, a week before, Facebook Chief Executive, Mark Zuckerberg also visited India and addressed a Townhall at IIT-Delhi. Apart from meeting business and political leaders, the young billionaire will also spend time with developers.

Speaking about the Microsoft event, Bryson said the event spans over two days that will explore how technology is empowering people and organisations across various sectors like government, education, banks, hospitals, eCommerce, entertainment and manufacturing. Along with the showcasing technology, Microsoft also promised to make a range of announcements during the two-day event.

Scott Guthrie, Executive Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise Group at Microsoft Corporation will also deliver a keynote speech at the Microsoft Event. “There will also be a series of keynotes and inspirational talks by industry luminaries, policy makers and business leaders,” Scott added. Microsoft had said cloud services from data centres in India was a key strategy for the huge development of software giant. During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Silicon Valley, the Redmond-based company said it is also working on making affordable Internet access available to 5 lakh villages in the country.

During the landmark visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Silicon Valley, US, he met the top executives of the tycoons including Microsoft, Nadella and Sundar Pichai and spoke about how the company’s cloud services from its data centres in India will be a key element for the ‘Make in India’ and Digital India projects. Stay tuned for more updates on the Microsoft Event at Mumbai.
