Yoga Guru BKS Iyengar Dies at 95
BKS Iyengar, the yoga guru from India who have made yoga a popular practice in the United States, died on Wednesday at the age of 95th
Iyengar, on the list of 100 most influential HR 2004, after he admitted for dyspnea admitted to a hospital in Pune, India.
A photo of yoga guru appeared smiling on their website with the words: “I always tell people Long live happy and majestic die. ”
Yoga Guru BKS Iyengar Dies :
Began practicing Iyengar Yoga tradition of 2000 years after a series of childhood illnesses and taught in the 1930s, according to USA Today. Among his students Geiger Yehudi Menuhin and actress Ali McGraw.
He has contributed to books on yoga, spreading the practice of the West, including “Light on Yoga” seeds, which has been translated into 18 languages written.
Actor Michael Richards Iyengar describes the technique of TIME in 2004, “Iyengar teaches practitioners, lush attention to the purpose of the organization is to combine the spirit of the breath and body, not an idea,” he wrote. “Their philosophy is to the east, but their vision is universal.

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Twitter that he was “deeply saddened” by the death of Iyengar.
