Pakistan Wouldn’t Mind Losing a Match With India: Inzamam Ul Haq
Arch-rivals Pakistan and India are going to face each other in the World Cup championship this February 15 the very next day of Valentine’s Day. He opined that though the cricket match between the two nations India and Pakistan would be a like a final before final although Pakistan doesn’t effected with the loss of losing the match as they are focused to get the World Cup to take to their home.
Inzzy in a media interaction, proclaimed that “I think Indo-Pak match at start will be crucial. A final before final. But I don’t mind losing to India if Pakistan win World Cup.” When he was asked about his opinion on ICC World Cup’s defending champion India he opined that Indian cricket wouldn’t be able to get through the championship and they need to get back to their nation after losing all their matches as the very recent results of the Carlton-Mid Tri-Series had revealed it out.
Pakistan’s former cricket captain Inzamam-ul-Haq reminded media stating that “Let me tell you a story. In 1992, we went to Australia a month before World Cup. Not many know that we played six warm-up games prior to the World Cup and lost all six. [And] We went on to win the World Cup.” Being an experienced player, he said that during the world cup they reverse swing won’t be difficult with the usage of two new balls from each end. He further added that “Adjustment is always key and Indian team will enjoy the advantage. But I can tell you one thing: reverse swing won’t be a factor with two new balls from both ends.”
Indian Cricket team is gifted with Dhoni: Inzamam
Indian Cricket team has vast possibilities and is blessed to be having the Captain like MS Dhoni who is most experienced and cricketer in India’s world cup cricket squad. He said that “I believe having Dhoni as a leader is a big factor for the Indian team. An experienced captain in a big-ticket event is always a plus. Having a leader who knows how to handle pressure makes Dhoni cut above rest.” The former leading run scorer for Pakistan in One-Day Cricket and second-highest run scorer for Pakistan in Test cricket opined that M S Dhoni has good experience of encountering pressure situations and rescuing the team from difficult scenarios.
