BJP MP Paresh Rawal Violates Odd-Even Rule While Going To Parliament And Apologises Delhi CM

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and Bollywood actor, Paresh Rawal, on Monday was found flouting the ‘Odd-Even’ rule implementing in Delhi. Paresh Rawal, along with Ashwini Copra and Rajendra Aggarwal were seen driving into the Parliament in even numbered cars on an Odd numbered day i.e. April 25.

These Politicians disobeyed the government orders of using odd numbered cars on odd numbered dates and even numbered ones on even numbered dates. The odd-even restriction is also applied to Delhi’s chief minister and ministers.

Later, Paresh Rawal apologized for travelling in an even number car to the Parliament. He took to Twitter to apologize Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and also tweeted a picture of the fine that he later paid. Paresh Rawal had expressed regret over using even numbered cars on an Odd numbered day.

Earlier, Vijay Goel was fined by the Delhi Police for driving to the Parliament House in a car with an odd numbered vehicle on an even numbered date. He had openly ‘expressed’ his desire to flout the rule and ‘expose’ AAP’s odd-even corruption. He had tweeted, “On my way to Parliament in an odd numbered car to expose #oddevencorruption of AAP.”

Meanwhile, BJP MPs Ranjan Bhatt and Hari Om Pandey today availed special DTC bus service launched for MPs to reach Parliament. Delhi is currently following the Odd-Even formula for the second time started on April 15 till April 30.
