Two Indians Hitting Mahatma Gandhi Statue With Shoes In Canada on Aug 15 [VIDEO]

In a shocking incident that goes against the nationalistic character of Indians, two Indian men slapped a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Winnipeg a city in Manitoba, Canada about 850 km west of Ontario. The incident took place on 15 August when India celebrated its 69th Independence Day. While the two shamelessly continued their antics, a third man filmed the entire incident. All three of them can be heard laughing throughout the act. The video was later posted on Facebook by the men. Two Indians Hitting Mahatma Gandhi Statue With Shoes In Canada

In the video they slap Mahatma’s cheeks and then remove their shoes to start delivering blows on the statue. A few people pass by giving them a stare, but the two men go on undeterred. One of the men is a Sikh, while it is not clear where the second person is from.

The incident is especially shameful as incidents like this form the extremely infamous image of Indians as tourists to the citizens of other countries. If we ourselves cannot respect the man who spearheaded the Indian Independence movement then how can we be respected by others. Please click on the video link below and tell us what should be the punishment for idiots like these two men.
