Achampet Municipal Elections 2016 Result: TRS Clean Sweeps All-Opposition By Winning All 20 Wards
In the Achampet Municipal Elections 2016, the Ruling Party Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) had continued its winning streak. Shockingly, TRS Party had won in all 20 wards in Achampet Municipality, Mahabubnagar District. The Ruling Party has registered another massive victory after GHMC elections.
The election was successfully conducted on March 6 and counting of votes was held today. The voting trend was very clear and not a single seat was won by the alliance of opposition parties including Congress, TDP, BJP and Communist parties.

By winning all the seats, it became clear that TRS will elect one of its elected ward members as the municipal chairman. The leaders and cadre of the TRS are confident that the pink Party will repeat the show in Warangal and Khammam elections too.
According to the latest reports, the TRS won 44 out of 58 divisions in Warangal, followed by Congress with winning three and the Bharatiya Janata Party 1 seat. In Khammam, the TRS captured 34 out of 50 seats, while the Congress won 10, Left four and YSR Congress party two seats.
