The incident caused “severe psychological trauma” to the teen, the letter said, adding that he and his family suffered physical and mental anguish. Moreover, in the letter they said that they will file a civil suit if they do not receive a reply within 60 days.

The letter read, “Ahmed never threatened anyone, never caused harm to anyone, and never intended to. The only one who was hurt that day was Ahmed, and the damages he suffered were not because of oversight or incompetence.”

The family moved to Qatar as they received an invitation from the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, which offered Ahmed full scholarship for his secondary and undergraduate education and accepted by them.

There is no response from either school district or from the Irving city on his demand of 5 million USD and 10 Million USD and the written apologies.
