Ahuti Prasad – Telugu Actor Dies of Cancer Today | Ahuti Prasad Died | Ahuti Prasad Passed Away: Popular Telugu actor Ahuti Prasad passed away on Sunday at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was suffering from cancer since some months and breathed his last today.

His condition has fallen critical a couple of months back and doctors have almost given up hopes. Born in Krishna district’s Koduru as Adusimilli Janardhana Vara Prasad, he acted in more than 300 films. He is survived by wife and two sons. –

The Telugu Film Industry was shocked at the death. Born in Koduru of Krishna District, the actor made his debut with Vikram in 1986, which is also actor Nagarjuna’s debut film. His next film Ahuti gave Prasad a big break and from then on he was called Ahuti Prasad.

Ahuti Prasad was born as an Adusumilli Janardhan Vara Prasad to A.Ranga Rao and Hymavathi.[Basically he is from Koduru of Krishna district near Mudinepally. later his family migrated to Raichur in Karnataka when he was a kid.He was interested in acting during his college days and he wanted to become an actor.After he completed his education he moved to Hyderabad and joined the Film Institute of veteran director V. Madhusudhan Rao and Devadas Kanakala was the principal of the institute.Ramjagan and Late Atchyut were his classmates at that institute.

His career started with Vikram directed by V. Madhusudhan Rao.It was also Nagarjuna’s debut film. He also directed as an assistant director for V. Madhusudana Rao for the film Malle Moggalu. When he was doing the film Ee Prashnaku Baduledi  producer Shyam Prasad saw him in the shooting and offered him Ahuti. With that film that gave him a big break and he became Ahuti Prasad.

In 2003 He received a Nandi Award for Best Villain for the film Nenu Ninnu Premistunnanu. In 2008 he bagged a Nandi Award for Best Character Actor for the film Chandamama.

Tollywood Actor Ahuthi Prasad Died Due To Cancer

Renowned Telugu Tollywood actor Ahuti Prasad passed away on Sunday at KIMS hospital in Hyderabad due to cancer. It was reported that he has been suffering from cancer since some months. 58-year-old Prasad breathed his last in a private hospital in Hyderabad. The hospital pronounced him dead. He had been suffering from health-related issues for the last one year. Ahuti Prasad is survived by his wife, son Karthik Prasad and daughter Bharani Prasad. The unexpected demise of the Ahuthi Prasad had left the film fraternity in grief and most of the artists and actors are in shock who have been losing the film Tollywood associates one by one since a year.

Dedicated Cinema Lover and Actor

Ahuti Prasad was born as an Adusumilli Janardhan Vara Prasad to A.Ranga Rao and Hymavathi. He has been an ardent cinema lover since his childhood and was interested in acting during his college days and he admired to become an actor. Ahuthi Prasad started his career with Vikram movie which was directed by V. Madhusudhan Rao which was also Akinenni Nagarjuna’s debut film. He explored out as assistant director in Tollywood as an assistant director for V. Madhusudana Rao for the film Malle Moggalu. When he was doing the film Ee Prashnaku Baduledi? producer Shyam Prasad saw him in the shooting and offered him Ahuti. With that film that gave him a big break and he became Ahuti Prasad. He was a recipient of Nandi Award for Best Villain for the film Nenu Ninnu Premistunnanu in the year 2003 and bagged another Nandi Award for Best Character Actor for the film Chandamama in the year 2008. He also served as MAA (Movie Artistes Association) general secretary.

Prasad was suffered from cancer before the day of death. He was admitted into a hospital at Hyderabad in mid-December 2014. He suffered from a severe cancer attack on 04 January 2015, and died later on the same day. The Government of Andhra Pradesh, has announced state funeral for Ahuti prasad.
