Airtel, India’s largest telecom operator had introduced a new feature in their services i.e. 4G Networks. The company has commercially aunched 4G services across India in 296 locations. As we all know that Airtel launched first 4G networks in India in Kolkata. The company informed that it offers 4G services at 3G prices. This pack starts from Rs. 25.

To avail these services and who are willing to opt these services, the customer should switch to 4G SIM. The officials of the company said on Thursday that “We have partnerships with Samsung and Flip-kart to help our customers upgrade to Airtel 4G.” After the switching to 4G SIM, the customers now will be able to experience high-speed wireless broadband on Airtel 4G.

And enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, fast uploading and downloading. With every 4G SIM swap, Airtel is also offering six months of unlimited music streaming and downloads on ‘Wynk Music’. Airtel also announced the launch of a new carrier agnostic mobile app ‘Wynk Movies’ that offers a library of lots of movies and popular videos.

Airtel official said “This follows the successful launch of Wynk Music and establishes Airtel as the only mobile operator in India to offer OTT (Over-the-Top) mobile applications that work across carriers.” Airtel also offered with a certain number of free movies on its new online movies platform.

“With the help of the feedback received from the beta launches, we have now built India’s first commercial 4G network that will make high speed mobile broadband a reality. The national roll-out today is another small step in our journey to be the most innovative and customer focused brand,” Gopal Vittal, MD & CEO, Bharti Airtel said.

“We also believe that an open platform is critical to develop an ecosystem that nurtures innovation and enabling our consumers to access a myriad set of possibilities on their mobile phones. Our 4G network is therefore built on an open partner ecosystem model that brings together the best in the industry and introduces the market to these never before experiences,” Gopal Vittal added.
