‘Akhil’ Audio Release function – Grand Success in Dallas

With the divine blessings of ANR, the latest sensation in Telugu Movie industry and the third generation hero from Akkineni family, Akhil Akkineni is all set to enthrall the Telugu movie audience in USA with his debut movie, AKHIL.

The audio release function of “AKHIL” was held in Dallas, TX on Saturday evening, i.e., on September 26, 2015 at Allen Performing Arts Center, by the Telugu Community.  Along with hero Akhil, the film’s leading lady, Sayesha Saigal, director V. V. Vinayak, music director Anup Reubens, producer Sudhakar Reddy of Shrestha movies and lyrics writer Krishna Chaitanya were also present for this memorable event which also included ANR Jayanthi celebrations and other cultural events. This event was organized by Srikanth Polavarapu.

The audio release function was well attended by more than 1,000 people and was a grand success. Akhil Akkineni received a grand welcome in a packed auditorium with roaring applauds. Hero Akhil’s mother, Amala and father Nagarjuna were also present at the event. The event started with prayer song by Keerthi Chamakura, followed by “Deva Devam Bhaje” Kuchipudidance. All the attendees enjoyed three hours of continuous music and dance programs, emceed by Mr. Rajesh Adusumilli and famous TV Anchor, Gayatri Bhargavi.

Dr. Prasad Thotakura, Chairman of the “Akkineni Foundation of America” (AFA) released the audio CD of movie “Akhil” and presented the first copy to Akhil and later to Anup Rubens, Sudhakar Reddy, Krishna Chaitanya, Srikanth Polavarapu, Subba Rao Nilisetty, Rajesh Adusumilli, SudhirTondepu of Classic Entertainments, Chalapati Kondrakunta, Murali Vennam, and other guests.

The Dallas singers sang wonderful songs from the movies of ANR, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Amala. Audience enjoyed dances by Harshit Vanam, Varun Karri, Naren Yalamanchili and Ravi Teja. Choreographed by Shanti Nuti and performed by thirty Dallas people, “ANR Nrutyashari” dance melody became a special attraction of the event. Dr. Prasad Thotakura, Chairman, AFA, shared the local Telugu community about Dallas community’s special association with ANRand memories of his 89th birthday celebrations in 2012 during ANR’s visit to Dallas.

 Akhil thanked all the attendees for their continuous support, love and wishes to his family and answered audience’s questions during the interactive session.
