Just when you thought that true love doesn’t exist; this story of 41-year-old American lady falling in love with a 23-year-old Gujarat Slum boy Hitesh Chavda will revive your faith in true love.

Emily (41) is a health coordinator in Montana, America while Hitesh (23) is from India and lives in a slum in Ahmedabad. The two met each other on Facebook and after numerous chat sessions, they fell in love. This escalated to video chatting. This went on for a year and then finally, Emily decided to meet Hitesh in person and then visited India.

But the most interesting thing about their story is that they both don’t know each other’s language, hence communicating with each other was the biggest obstacle. Luckily, Google translator came to their rescue, which played cupid in the love story of Emily and Hitesh.

The two finally met in Hitesh’s hometown and the rest as they say is history. The couple ended up tying the knot on the same day they met each other face to face in India.

Talking about their beautiful relationship, this is what Hitesh has to say:

“Neither of us knew each other’s language so I would copy and paste her messages using Google Hindi translation to understand what she was trying to say. I would then compose my own message in Hindi, translate into English and then send it to her.”

The marriage took place according to Hindu traditions and customs. Just like every other Indian family, Hitesh’s parents were skeptical about marrying their son to Emily. After witnessing their love and dedication towards each other they eventually understood and gave the couple their blessings.

Emily was ecstatic being dressed up in traditional Indian Bridal wear and commented: “I liked his innocence and simplicity. He never tries to hide anything from me. This is why I decided to to marry him.”

Hitesh also tells that his parents loved Emily’s simplicity, “When we met in person for the first time, I fell in love with her simplicity and innocence. She was so much in love with me that she even decided to learn Indian cooking.”

Their cute love story does not end at that. The couple has decided to go to the USA for their honeymoon, following which they will get settled in India for good.
