Google Rolls Out Android 5.1 Lollipop OTA; Improvements, New Features

Google has ascended with the latest Android OS version 5.1 Lollipop over the air (OTA) update for selected Nexus devices which can be downloaded through preferred platforms or carriers. The updated Android OS version 5.1 Lollipop boasts new features all the quenched issues and bugs which were found in the previous version of Android OS Android 5.0 Lollipop

Android 5.1 Lollipop is Released by Google for Selected Nexus Devices

Multiple sim cards usage would be supported by the newly launched Google Android 5.1 Lollipop version which is gonna benefit the dual sim smartphone users although the Nexus smartphone users are not going to be benefited due to the absence of the dual sim slots in the smart device. Although this would be handy for those if this features gets rolled on to other carriers.

Google renovated the security system and features of the 5.1 Lollipop OS as per the official informartion which has been stated in the blog of Google. The new improved security system would lock down your smartphone powered by 5.1 Lollipop OS if its lost or stolen. The locked status if the device would continue until and unless the user signs on the device with your registered Google account.

Dave Burke, VP of Android Platform said that “This feature will be available on most Android phones and tablets shipped with Android 5.1 in addition to Motorola Google Nexus 6 and HTC Google Nexus 9.” And this is gonna amaze the users and the owners 2015’s most demanding smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S6 or HTC One M9 due to the absence of this feature in these devices.

Google announced another revamped feature which is the introduction of High Definition voice calling ability. Users of all the updated Android 5.1 Lollipop smartphone will get clear HD voice between the compatible Android 5.1 devices Nexus 6 on T-Mobile or Verizon.

Revamped Android 5.0 Lollipop OS feature some more features such as improvised switching of WiFi network, controlling of Bluetooth devices directly from the drop down quick settings menu.

The latest update of Google Android features several speculations such as sporting system stability, notification bug fixing and app crash bug fixing. Users of the smartphones who were missing the silent mode would be able to find the silent mode back again fixing up all the sound glitches. The fixed and updated Android 5.1 OS has solved the previous grievances such as excess network consumption in WiFi issues  and has come up with improved the RAM management and improve power (battery) consumption.
