People across the state are welcoming this move and scheme which has been initiated and launched by Andhra Pradesh. First Information Report at Your Doorstep is an innovating pilot project which was launched on the eve of Police Commemoration Day. FIR at Your Door Step ensures that common man may not step in and visit any police station if they have been exploited and their rights are being violated making it as option and they can file the FIR from their place of residence or doorstep.
