Andhra Pradesh CM Launches Cost-Effective High Speed Broadband Internet Starting At Rs.149/Month
Digital India is sure on its way towards success at the rate things are going in the country. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched AP FiberNet in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. Under this project, Andhra Pradesh State Fiber-net Ltd (APSFL) will provide users low-cost broadband internet with high-speed internet connections.
We’re providing Internet through APSFL at Rs.149/month for a 15 Mbps line to households & offices will get 100 Mbps line at Rs.999/ month.

A broadband connection with 15 Mbps speed at Rs 149 per month for household connections and 100 Mbps connections to offices at Rs 999 per month for Workplaces. These rates are substantially lower than what other internet service providers currently charge.
State Government is targeting 1.3 crore households in the state by July of 2016. The project is expected to cost ₹ 333 Crores and is expected to roll out in a gradual manner. . The State Government has tied up with IT company Cisco for this project.
The National Optic Fiber Network implemented by the Centre has taken up the Andhra Pradesh Fiber Grid Project as a first of its kind trial to gauge the market and consumption of internet.
