We all know that Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan got married to Safa Baig, a 21-year-old model from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on February 4. Pathan hosted the wedding ceremony in Mecca. After his marriage, Irfan took Twitter to share the news saying that, “Entering probably the most beautiful phase of my life. We both wish to thank everyone for your wishes and #blessings.”

But, it seems like Irfan forgot to invite former India teammate Mohammed Kaif to his wedding. Hence, Mohammed Kaif expressed surprise over the news of Irfan’s wedding. Kaif claimed that he didn’t expect this news to reach him through Twitter or rather social media.

Pathan made the perfect comeback to Kaif’s tweet. He politely replied to Kaif that the reason behind him not informing about the wedding was that Kaif didn’t answer his call.

This seems to be the wedding season for most of the cricketers. We had seen Harbhajan Singh married actor Geeta Basra in November while another Indian player Rohit Sharma married Ritika Sajdah in December. Yuvraj Singh is set to marry British actor Hazel Keech and Ravinder Jadeja recently got engaged to mechanical engineer Rivaba Solanki.
