BCCL Recruitment 2016:

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited with its headquarters in Dhanbad, India.[1] It was incorporated in January 1972 to operate coking coal mines (214 in number) operating in the Jharia and Raniganj Coalfields, taken over by the government of India on 16th Oct 1971. BCCL is the major producer of prime coking coal (raw and washed) in India. Medium coking coal is produced in its mines in Mohuda and Barakar areas. In addition to production of hard coke, BCCL operates washeries, sand gathering plants, a network of aerial ropeways for transport of sand, and a coal bed methane-based power plant.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

For Overseer (Civil):

• Should have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination.
• Should possess a recognized Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 Years)

For Junior Overman:

• Diploma in Mining Engineering of 3 (Three) years duration from recognized institute.
• Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency issued by Director General of Mines Safety (DGMS)
• Valid Gas Testing Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate

For Mining Sirdar:

• Valid Mining Sirdar’s Certificate issued by Director General Mines Safety (DGMS)
• Valid Gas Testing Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate

Age Limit:

The candidate must have completed 18 years of age and also should not be more than 30 years of age as on 07.07.2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Application Fee :

Applicant should pay Rs. 200/- as an application fee through online mode.  The Application fee is exempted for the SC/ST PWD/Ex-Serviceman and departmental candidates.
