Bharat Ratna / Padma Awards Winners List in India: President Pranab Mukherjee conferred the country’s highest civilian honour Bharat Ratna to freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malaviya posthumously on Monday. A host of other other personalities, including veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani and Punjab Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Parkash Singh Badal, were honoured with Padma awards by Mr. Mukherjee at a glittering ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

Bharat Ratna and Padma Awards Winners List:

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee presented the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards today (March 30, 2015) at a Civil Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were the Vice President of India, Prime Minister, Union Ministers of Home Affairs, Finance and Human Resource Development. Bharat Ratna Award:

The prestigious Bharat Ratna Award was given to educationist Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya (Posthumous).
