In today’s IPL 2016 Auction held in Bangalore, there was a moment where Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders fought each other while bidding Jos Buttler. Jos Buttler almost went to the Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.5 crores before KKR made a last second bid and trolled them for it. Jos Buttler, an England Batsman and Wicket-keeper was looking consistent since few series.

Jos Buttler just had occasion to record his slowest international century, for which he needed 73 balls. This one stat alone tells what a kind of player he is. Vada Pav, a dish the Kolkata Knight Riders would be glad to be treated to as evidenced by their tweet trolling the Mumbai Indians over Jos Buttler.

The bidding on Buttler was a war which ensured his services. But the Mumbai Indians went all out to get Jos for a sum of 3.8 crores. He almost went to the Mumbai Indians for 1.5 crores, which was his base price, before KKR made a last second bid which started a bidding war.

Though MI got Buttler, KKR didn’t let their guard down on Twitter.
