Poll dates for the high-voltage Bihar Assembly elections are announced by the Election Commission today. Addressing a press conference in the national capital, Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi announced the dates for the polls for the 243-member Assembly. Bihar Elections to be held in five phases. 2.58 pm: Number of seats during Bihar Assembly polls

• Phase 1: 49
• Phase 2: 32
• Phase 3: 50
• Phase 4: 55
• Phase 5: 57

2.52 pm: The counting will be on November 8, 2015 for all phases, elections finishes on November 12, 2015.

2.46 pm: The Bihar Elections will be held in five phases. The phase one will be on October 12, 2015. The phase two will begin from October 16. The date of phase three is October 28. Phase four is on November 1.November 5, will be the phase five.

2.42 pm: The EVMs will have candidates photos. The ECI has asked everyone to work according to Law and guidelines of ECI. The modal code of conduct will come into effect immediately post the announcement of the Bihar 2015 Polls dates.

2.40 pm: Post the Bihar 2015 Polls dates are announced, single window system will be operational.
