In Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district, a Dalit Man was forcefully made to spit and lick it off the floor. And the reports say that this was an announcement from the panchayat to punish that person as his son married to a Muslim woman.

The Victim Said ” During The Panchayat Meeting, I was forced to lick my own saliva off the group because my son married to a Muslim woman. And as a punishment, the panchayat ordered me to leave the village permanently. ‘The Panchayat members said that my daughter and wife should walk nakedly on the streets ‘ He said.

The Man further claimed that his son married a girl who is a Muslim and even they registered their marriage in the court.

Police said that they lodged a complaint against the members who punished him like that and said, ‘We have received a complaint from a Dalit man who said that he was made to spit and lick his own spit during a panchayat meeting as his son had married a Muslim woman.
