This was one of the bad incidents which had taken in India. We had come across lot of marriages called off due to many different issues like financial problems, misunderstanding, love affairs and many more. But this marriage had been called off due to some stupid and most bizarre reason. The reason is that “bride denied bride groom’s request to send him a nude selfie.”

This incident took place in Thane in Maharashtra. The groom, Jithendra Ramakrishna (33) called off the wedding when his bride denied his request to send him a nude selfie. According to sources, Jithendra got engaged recently and thereby started to threaten the bride that the wedding will be called off if she refuses to send her nude selfie.

Depsite rejecting the request Jithendra kept on asking. He even went on to ask for a dowry of Rs 3 lakh. He then threatened the family that if his needs are not met he will call off the wedding. Thus the bride’s family decided to call off the marriage. Unhappy with the groom’s behaviour, the bride’s family filed a complaint basing on which the groom and his family was arrested and booked them under dowry act.

Such rascals should be punished severely and this selfie fashion is crossing its limits and police should take precautionary measures on this context. Selfie is one of the technologies which is going on increasing its impact on the users. Thus there are few limits and extents for everything and everyone.
