A bus that was carrying 40 employees of a private company was involved in an accident in Noida, officials said that the bus was hit by a speeding truck.

SHO Ali Pundir said that the incident happened by 6 am in the Sector 93 of Noida.

The SHO added that the bus had 42 passengers that were all females, they belonged to a private company and were on their way to work when they were hit by a speeding truck.

The passengers were rushed to the nearest hospital and those who are in critical condition were transferred to the Kailash Hospital.

The SHO said that the speeding truck has been seized and the driver of the truck has been arrested.

SHO Pundir said that a probe has been launched for the accident and added that no official complaint has been registered for the accident.
