ICAI Announced CA New Syllabus For CA – CPT, IPCC, Final 2016

New Delhi : Mr Raghu, President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), said on Monday that the ICAI would be introducing new syllabi for chartered accountancy course in the country from 2016. The committee worked on it to prepare this new syllabus. The syllabus for CA proficiency test to CA final has some changes to make the course more practical. This minute changes may help you to in seeking more knowledge and  practical in approach to meet the global needs. Raghu said, “The draft of the new syllabus has been approved. We are now seeking the opinion of people and students on it. This future oriented CA education will be more industry-friendly and practical”.

New syllabi for CA course from 2016

CA Changed Syllabus for May 2016:

The Change in the syllabus all about to make the CA courses more practical and updated once to meet the global needs of the country. Please note that CA new syllabus 2016 is not only applicable to CA Final but applicable to CA CPT and CA IPCC.  Apart from the proposed change in the syllabus the CA final year students would be given 100 hours of IT training as well, so that they would become capable enough to seek job opportunities even outside India.

Changes may be in :

  • IPCC – ITSM Subject Course to be revamped
  • CA Final – ISCA Subject may be removed.
  • CPT – Change in Exam Pattern from Objective to Subjective

CA Final Nov 2014 Results Date Confirmed

When we compare CA with other courses, CA has its fee as just Rs. 45,000. The average pay packet for a student who passed Chartered Accountancy was Rs. 8.14 lakh. There is lot of scope for Chartered Accountancy in the country and abroad also. The ICAI was giving importance to Cloud Campus, where the CA study materials were available to the students online. There were many branches of ICAI and there were more than 10,000 Chartered Accountants in the every State. There were 2.35 lakh Chartered Accountants in the country, while 8.35 lakh students pursuing Chartered Accountancy course.
