Check Out! A New Turn In The Jasleen Kaur-Sarvjeet Singh Case
Remember Jasleen Kaur and Sarvjeet Singh? Earlier in August 2015, Jasleen Kaur and Saravjeet Singh’s case has been a sensation for few days on social media. Jasleen Kaur, a student of St Stephens College, on 23rd August posted a picture of a man (Sarvjeet Singh) on a Royal Enfield bike and claimed that the man had passed obscene comments on her, when she was walking down the Tilak Nagar Street. She even claimed that when she was clicking his picture and threatened him to lodge an FIR, the guy, instead of being scared and apologizing, warned her of dire consequences.
At first, it seemed that Jasleen was speaking the truth and Sarvjeet was entirely guilty but the matter grew bigger later and was in limelight for quite a few days. After further questioning, the story took a different turn altogether. Soon people started questioning the other side of the story. It was found that it was not Sarvjeet but Jasleen who was solely guilty and on the contrary, the guy was calm and innocent, according to the eye-witnesses.
Anyway, Jasleen did take an action in the beginning by reporting the incident at Tilak Nagar Police station and ever since, Sarvjeet was waiting for the notice from the court and finally he got it after around 6 months. He shared a picture of the notice on his Facebook profile.
We still don’t know which side was speaking the truth. We hope that justice will be done to the right person!!
