China To Adopt World’s Strictest Vehicle Emission Standards By 2017

China capital Beijing is going to implement some strict vehicle emission standards. This step is taken by Beijing government to reduce hazardous hydrocarbon emissions from the vehicles by five per cent said the authorities.

The city`s protection Bureau said that Beijing took the lead in China in using unleaded gasoline in 2007 and worked on Beijing II gasoline standards in 2005, 2008 and 2012 and now Beijing implemented Beijing III, Beijing IV, and Beijing V gasoline.

It is always one or two stages Beijing is ahead when compared to other Chinese Cities. Now the Beijing VI standard will reduce vehicle hydrocarbon emissions by five per cent reported the state-run people`s daily.

By next year, December Beijing is expected to implement the new standard which will lower the emission by 40 to 50 percent. The emission from vehicle and pollution from them will be cut off by 20 to 30 percent which could happen by 2022.
