CM KCR Laid Stone For Integrated Police Command Control Centre In Hyderabad

Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has performed ground breaking ceremony for establishing a new Police Command and Control Centre in an extent of seven acres in Banjara Hills, here on Sunday where he accompanied with Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister Talasani Srinivas, Congress Senior Leaders V Hanumantha Rao and TRS Leader K Kesava Rao.

CM Assures Rs 700 Crore More for Police Command & Control centre:

The new command centre for which the government has earmarked Rs 320 crore in the current financial year would be scanning several parts of the city through 10,000 CCTV cameras. KCR announced an additional fund of Rs 700 crore.

The amount will be insufficient for constructing the magnificent building and equipping it with latest technology. Another Rs.700 crore will be sanctioned for the purpose in the next budget,” the Chief Minister said. He assured the police that the twin tower building will be constructed in the shortest possible time.

The commissioner said the centre would be twin glass towers of 24 and 18 floors and comprise of four blocks. There will be a mega video wall of the entire city. The building will house a public observation deck and a police museum on the 17th floor. It will also have a facility for helicopters to land on top of the building.
