Credits to the Budgam resident who manages to do as this feat as he is determined to take his genus Bosto write the papers. Abdul Rashid Bhat who owns the cow says “It is my legal right to take my cow for the exam. I have paid the fees, so it is my right to take the cow there.” He further added “It was not my intention to hurt anyone’s feeling or make a joke of someone. I filled this form only to check the system.”

Abdul Rashid Bhat, who lives in Chadoora area of central Kashmir Budgam district had exposed the loopholes in the online registration system of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE). Abdul Rashid Bhat was successful enough get an admit card to Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) for his cow to write the examinations for admissions into Diploma in Polytechnic College.

Surprisingly the Abdul Rashid Bhat’s cow was issued the hall ticket by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) in the name of Kachir Gaaw (Brown Cow) stating it as daughter of Gura Dand (Red Bull). Abdul Rashid Bhat’s cow Kachir Gaaw (Brown Cow) has been allotted a seat at Government Degree College, Bemina for writing the examination scheduled to be held on May 10.

Abdul Rashid Bhat alleges that the current system of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) allows all the motley to register for the examinations. Mr. Bhat says that  “You also know how BOPEE exams are conducted – it can be a cow, calf or Buffalo. I thought of trying to fill a form for a cow and I completed all formalities including payment of the fees.”

Bhat further added with a smirk “A candidate sitting for the examination requires to have passed the matriculation examination from any recognized board of school education. However, those candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examinations, can also appear subject to their passing. “My cow’s result is awaited.”

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party Exposes BOPEE Outrage

Abdul Rashid Bhat’s cow Kachir Gaaw (Brown Cow) exam hall ticket and the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) issue had been  in news after the National Conference spokesman Junaid Azim Mattu uploaded a copy of the admit card on micro-blogging site Twitter on last Saturday i.e., on 2^nd May 2015.

Junaid Azim Mattu, National Conference spokesman alleged on twitter as “The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations issued this roll number slip to a cow after due verification. I have both the Provisional Confirmation Page for applicant Ms ‘Kachir Gaaw’ as well as details of payment she made to BOPEE.” National Conference working president Omar Abdullah and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir state commented on Junaid Azim Mattu tweet saying “Brilliant. I wish Kachir Gaaw had turned up for the examination.” After being played and trolled over the social media Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) chairman Ghulam Hassan Tantray has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
