People across the nation of deprived communities such as dalits have been ill treated in one or the other way violating their fundamental rights. Upper Caste Women Severely Beaten Minor Dalit Girl on Falling Her Shadow Over Their Family Muscleman

Perhaps this may make the literate young urban people laugh while this staggering  incident would leave you in shock. A Minor Dalit girl was allegedly beaten by the higher caste women just all because the  her shadow fell on a muscleman belonging to their family in Ganeshpura village. The upper cast women brutally assaulted minor dalit girl despite being a woman for superstitious and condemnable practice towards the deprived sections of the society.

Though the incident came was brought to light a few hours ago while the actual incident took place on 13th June 2015. The kins of the victims have lodged a complaint at the Gadi Malhera police station as per the reports of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Neeraj Pandey.

ASP Neeraj Pandey briefed about the incident stating that the victim dalit girls father came up and lodged a complaint regarding the brutal attack over daughter bruising her, to ill state. As per the village sources the actual problem took place after the minor dalit girl went to fetch for water from a village hand pump and her shadow fell on muscle-man Puran Yadav (belonging to a higher caste) when he happened to pass from there.

Apart from severely beating the young minor dalit girl the upper caste women threatened the victim to not to be spotted again in future at the hand pump. Enraged the family of the muscle-man and upper caste women also threatened to kill the victim dalit family and the girl if they ever dare to move in their vicinity.

Victim Dalit Family Was Prevented to Approach Police for Help

Enraged the family of the muscle-man Puran Yadav’s family also prevented the victim dalit’s family from going to police station for legal aid although they somehow managed to get to police station for the protection of their rights. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Neeraj Pandey said that a case under sections 323, 341, 506 of the IPC was charged  and registered against the accused upper caste muscle-man Puran Yadav’s family and the women who brutally assaulted the minor dalit girl.

Though the an FIR was registered ASP Neeraj Pandey assured transparent justice would be delivered for both while further investigation is underway. It is very hard to believe in today’s modern era still untouchability and discrimination of people on the basis of caste creed and race is being practiced in most of the remote pockets of India where lower deprived caste are exempted to come in contact with those belonging to the higher socio-economic class.

Added to this they are forbidden to share their food, cook for them or even look them in the eye and the heights of the social discrimination may make you ROFL that they are even forbidden for their shadow to fall on higher caste people, who consider it as defiling or polluting.
