Delhi CM Kejriwal Was Stopped By The Villagers, Later Allowed To Meet Dadri Lynching Victim’s Family

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was in the way to visit the family of a man lynched for allegedly eating beef. CM Kejriwal and some of the congress leaders were stopped outside the Bisada village on Saturday. As it is the responsibility of the government to observe such complicated issues and take precautionary measures. The government has failed in this context to look after the problems that the common people are facing.

Kejriwal was stopped by the Bisada villagers

Thus, CM and the other leaders were allowed after villagers upset over a steady stream of visitors pelted stones at media persons. Police said that “the situation in the village had turned tense as women in the village had objected to the presence of media and some persons had pelted stones at them.” As the villagers were frustrated of the visitors, they had stopped all the visitors from entering the village and the administration was trying to convince the agitated villagers, police said.

Kejriwal visited the family of a man lynched

After being stopped outside the village, Kejriwal who was accompanied with other party leaders questioned why he was stopped from meeting the family when leaders like Asaduddin Owaisi and Mahesh Sharma were allowed. After being initially stopped by the administration, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met the family of Dadri lynching victim. He said that the attacked party people were spreading poison between the Hindus and the Muslims.

The Aam Aadmi Party chief was initially asked by the local police not to visit the village due to the bad situation in the village. Some residents also protested against visitors, including politicians and media persons who have been visiting the village since the Monday night incident. “What happened in Dadri was against humanity. It was totally wrong. Who benefited from it, neither Hindus nor Muslims? Only political parties and politicians are benefiting,” CM Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal took to twitter, and posted, “We r stopped by police n admin. Mahesh Sharma n Owaisi not stopped yest. Then y me? I am most peace loving. Want 2 jst meet Ikhlak’s family.” And he also wrote that “I am being accused of doing politics. Yes, I am doing politics. But I am doing politics of unity and love. They are doing politics of hatred.” “We firmly believe that Hindus n Muslims have to stay united and not become vote-banks. They want to divide people,” tweeted Kejriwal.
