We come across many videos especially household videos on Social Media that went viral. Here is one such video shared by a human rights activist Kundan Srivastava on his Facebook page. In the video, a man was seen cruelly beating his wife and her alleged illicit partner both tied up to the pillars.

The man beats his wife with a big stick and later uses a pipe to thrash the man and the woman in front of villagers. The video had stirred a debate whether if it’s fair to react violently to them equally, especially against the woman.

Srivastava shared the video on his FB page with the Following message:

“The Video was sent to me by one of the followers. I don’t have any authentic information yet about the incident. But, after seeing the Video I do believe it can be a Love Affair.

Man brutally beating his wife and her Lover in front of the entire Villagers. You can see in the video that both Man & Woman have been tied to the pole and are beaten severely. The woman’s voice shows that she may belong to Bihar, UP & Jharkhand.

I condemn the incident and urge the people of India if you have any authentic information. Inbox me, please!? #HeightOfCruelty

The video has sparked a huge debate among the viewers. While some have supported the man who is beating in the video saying: “When a man does mistake u punish very hard. Y can’t we punish women equally?” some have opposed him.
