Drunk Man Buried Alive by Road Construction Team after Falling into Pit

Road construction workers were reported to have buried a drunk man alive who fell into a pit accidentally. Sources report that those road construction officials failed to discover the drunk man who fell into the pit. This inhuman incident took place in Katni district of Madhya Pradesh were in the darkness of night a 45-year-old drunk man is believed to have buried building a road over him with sand and boulders.

Officials said they found a 45-year-old man buried at the road construction site in remote Salaiya village. The deceased was identified as Latori Burman who lost his life due to the negligence of road construction workers who was is suspected to have fallen into the pit in a drunken state during Friday night. It is speculated that Latori Burman would have got stuck beneath the sand and boulders which were being unloaded by a dumper in the nearby site.

Cops who are investigation the main cause of Latori Burman’s death are suspecting spread of sand and boulders sand and boulders and its leveling by an earth moving the machine at the site later. Police personnel’s are saying that they wouldn’t have any clear picture of the death of Burman until they get an autopsy to ascertain the exact cause of death.

On Saturday, police were briefed of this incident by the locals of Saliya who found bloodstains and the man’s shirt on the surface of the road. Family sources claimed Burman was returning from Kuwa village after celebrating a religious function with his wife. It is chewed over that he might have fallen into the pit during his return to  Salaiya, leaving his wife at her maternal house.

Yashpal Singh Rajput, Katni’s additional superintendent of police said, “the drivers of the earth moving machine and road roller had been arrested.
