Usually in Indian Marriages, the bride comes in a Doli. But this bride from Ahmedabad entrance shocked and ended everyone to open their mouths. She came into the wedding venue on a Bullet (Motorcycle). While the bride’s entry at weddings is a rather filmy affair these days, with family and relatives holding a canopy of flowers over her head, background music well in place. This 26-year-old Ayesha Upadhaya thought in a different way.

She is a computer science professor in Ahmedabad and is fond of biking since an early age and is even part of a biker group. “Since I was 13-year-old, I have been riding the bike. We also have a biker group. I love bullet and I told my parents that I want to enter the stage on the bike and not in doli,” Ayesha said.

Ayesha’s husband, Lokik, apparently doesn’t know how to ride a bike, but she has him covered. She said, “I will take him on a ride after marriage.”
