A 6-year-old girl was killed by his father after her dupatta slipped off her head while she was playing police said. The incident took place in Mamaura village of Bhogipura area, Uttar Pradesh.

The father Zafar alias Chand Miyan, beat his daughter repeatedly to ground, while the mother went to the villagers for help.

According to villagers as they reached the spot, they saw the man (Zafar) beating her 6-year-old daughter in an inhuman manner. The people present that there got terrified by the kind of brutality and couldn’t dare to stop the man.

Again the man repeatedly beating his daughter until she died.

He didn’t stop here, he started to dig a grave then and there to put the body inside.  According to villagers Zafar alias Chand Miyan liked to keep women in pardah (veil) and was bit eccentric, they added. Superintendent of Police, Rural Brijesh Srivastava said that the accused has been arrested.
