Geeta Says Pakistani Boy Marooned in Bhopal Should be Helped the Same Way She Had Been

Indian origin girl, Geeta who had just returned from Pakistan backs the boy of the neighboring nation and urges that the administration supports him to return to his family. Geeta who is deaf and mute since her birth has been to the nation from Pakistan in the lately expressed her intention to meet the lead star of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” Salman Khan. She asserted confidence on the star that he would be able to find her parents and would take her home.

Interacting with media in sign language taking the aid of Monika Punjabi Verma on Friday in Indore, she claimed her confidence in finding her family. Bollywood’s recently released film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is being conceived as one of the major diagram behind the arrival of Geeta back to India from Pakistan. Speaking to media Indore District collector, P Narhari said, “We are hopeful that he will approach us and fix an appointment with Geeta soon. Then we will seek permission from the government to facilitate the meeting.” He claimed that the authorities are trying to contact Salman’s manager in this regard.

During the interaction with media, Geeta said, “Mohammad Ramzan, the Pakistani boy stranded in Bhopal for more than two years, should be helped the same way she was helped by the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to return to India” responding to a question she was asked.

Pakistani boy aged 15 years old hailing from Karachi has been living with a shelter home Umeed in Bhopal. since 13 October. Mohammad Ramzan who is being backed up local youth Hamza Basit to reach his family said,” In the year 2009 when Ramzan’s father Mohammad Kazol divorced his mother Begum Razia, his ordeal started.”

Hamza Basith is currently pursuing a chartered accountancy course in Bhopal and looking after the needs of Ramzan. After the divorce Ramzan was in the custody of his father Mohammad Kazol and mother Razia was under the custody of this his sister Zora. It was during 2009-10, Mohammad Kazol took Ramzan to Bangladesh where setup an completely new life for him.

The care taker of Ramzan, Hamza Basit said, “Kazol remarried a woman in Bangladesh… the step-mother started ill-treating Ramzan. His father too didn’t treat him well. So about over two years ago Ramzan sneaked into India after someone advised him to do so.”

Police who found Ramzan at Bhopal station under suspicious state a few years back sent him to  ‘Umeed’ shelter home run by the NGO ‘Arambh’.
