GOA CET – Application Form 2015 Notification DTE GCET Common Entrance Test: The Directorate of technical education, Government of Goa has released the notification for conducting the Goa Common Entrance Test – 2015 (GCET – 2015) for those candidates who want to take admission into the various professional degree courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.E., B.Pharm ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES (B.P.T., B.O.T., B.Opt., B.Sc.M.I.T., B.Sc.A.T.) B.Sc. in NURSING in the various government institutes and private institutes in Goa state for the academic year 2015-16. Now Directorate of Technical Education published Common prospectus for admission to the first year of professional degree courses session 2015-2016 and GCET related information. The prospectus is for 34 professional courses with almost 1900 seats.

Eligibility for admission to Professional Degree courses (GCET):

The Government of Goa in 1986 created Directorate of Technical Education to Facilitate new Technical Education institutions and courses in the State of Goa. For admission to Professional Degree courses included in this prospectus, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:

Age Limit for GCET 2015:

• An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have competed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December.
• No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture

Valid Score at GCET-2015:

• GCET score of the previous year/s shall not be valid.
• For Medicine and Dentistry Degree courses, minimum GCET score should be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category.) aggregate in specified subjects.
• No minimum limit is specified for other courses.
• An applicant for Degree Course in Architecture must have appeared and obtained valid score at NATA conducted by Council of Architecture.

Out of 60 seats, 15 seats are reserved for Management Quota, admission for which shall be done at Institution.
