Guinness World Records: Acharya Makunuri Srinivasa From India Unveils The Largest Ball Point Pen

The Largest Ball Point Pen measured 5.5 metres length (about 38 times the size of a regular biro) was set by Shri Acharya Makunuri Srinivasa in Hyderabad, India. It was inspired by a pen his mother gave him as a young boy. It weighs 37.23 kilograms.

As per the Guinness World Records guidelines, the supersized pen dispenses ink at its tip during use by the rolling action of a small metal sphere, performing just like its smaller siblings.

This record achievement was an incredibly proud moment for inventor Archarya, and his whole village turned out to witness the pen’s momentous debut demonstration.
