During the early hours of the Saturday 3th May 2015 Gujarat state’s most visited tourist place Kutch district has been discovered a  mild earthquake which measured 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale.

Gujarat State Kutch District Gets Earthquake of 4.3 Richter Scale Magnitude

Although till now there hasn’t been any causalities found till now as per the official data of the Gujarat State and Kutch district. Officials of the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) said that “A minor earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale hit Kutch district at 6.30 am. The epicentre of the earthquake was 22 kms northwest from Bhachau town of district.” Another official of Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) articulated that Another minor tremor measuring 2 on Richter Scale was also felt at 7.47 am after the first tremor.”

People ran out of their homes after sensing the tremors at early hours of the Saturday 9th May 2015. Residents who were all living in tall building and apartments rolled down to open space to protect their lives after feeling the first tremors in the early morning hours. Official of Kutch district emergency control room said that “People living in high rises and tall buildings in Kutch experienced the quake and ran out of their houses but there were no reports of any damage to property or casualties due to the tremors.”

State government officials and concerned authorities stated people to stay calm and reported that there is nothing to worry.
