Remember These Guy Who Threw The Dog Off A Building ? Something Will Disturb You In This Case

Did you remember the man from Chennai holds a small dog by its neck and back, mercilessly flings it off the roof of a tall building ? People gathered on social media platforms and joined hands to do justice to that poor dog.

The video went viral on Facebook and Whatsapp and The Humane Society International offered Rs 1 lakh as the reward to the one who finds the man. Finally, the man was identified and accused. What happens next will disturb your mind.

Since India’s animal laws are not that strong, the medical students were arrested and then released on bail. Though the two were arrested, they were let out on bail and were asked to pay a fine.

Dr. MGR Medical University nudged this issue again and constituted a meeting with four other people and settled with some compensation. The vice-chancellor DR S Geethalakshmi said that the committee has decided to impose a ban of Rs. 2 lakh each.

“The matter is subjudice and is pending before the court. The university formed a committee to look into the issue and it recommended that the accused pay a compensation of `2 lakh each to the Animal Welfare Board of India,” said  Pushkala, the university registrar.

The college committee said: “As directed by the Madras high court, a committee was formed by the university to decide on the quantum of penalty amount to be paid by each student to the Animal Welfare Board. After taking into consideration the reality of offense, the committee has decided that Rs 2 lakh should be paid by each of them to the board.”
