Teej is a generic name for a number of festivals that are celebrated in Nepal, Northern and Western India. Teej festivals are traditionally celebrated on the the third day of the Indian month of Shravan. ‘Teej’ is mostly celebrated in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.
