Himachal Pradesh Congress Activists Suffer Burn Injuries While Trying To Light Narendra Modi Effigy
Congress activists in the capital of Himachal Pradesh on Monday had come out for protesting against PM Modi government and came across an unforgettable tragedy in their life. The protesters while protesting on the Shimla roads suffered from burn injuries when they are setting fire to Narendra Modi’s effigy.
The accident occurred when one of the protesters tried to set fire to Modi’s effigy despite another was still soaking the effigy with gasoline, the firing liquid on effigy exploded leaving 4 to 5 people on fire. All the protesters suddenly ran out from the place. Two of them are seriously injured with burns.
A press statement issued by the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee said it staged protests in all 17 organizational districts against the BJP-led central government for launching a “malicious political vendetta” against the Congress and its leaders. Himachal Pradesh’s Congress unit had planned a demonstration against the National Herald issue.
The Congress workers were protesting in front of DC office against the way Gandhi Family is being treated in National Herald Case. Finally, the statement was silent on the incident.
