Hyderabad Is The Third Noisiest Metro In The Country

As per report by Central Pollution Control Board, Hyderabad is the third noisiest metro in India after Mumbai and Lucknow. According to CPCB the data from 35 noise monitoring systems installed be nine metro cities for the time period of 2011-14. This is published in the ambient noise levels in India.

CPBP report says that in four years, Hyderabad is standing in the third position of noise levels going above the prescribed standards at the noise monitoring systems. Also in the same period Bengaluru and Kolkata has least number of violations.

With the noise monitoring systems in Hyderabad which are at two commercial zones such as Abids and Punjagutta, the Jubilee Hills residential zone and the silence zone at Zoo, The Jeedimetla Industrial zone There are some prescribed limits of the CPCB, those limits are exceeded by the zones at Abids, Punjagutta and the Zoo.

This is seen as the fallout of government departments such as pollution Control Board, Traffic Police and Transport for not controlling the noise pollution in city of Hyderabad.
