Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a tiff over dumping garbage in front of a house resulted in the murder of a 26-year-old man by his neighbour at Achi Reddy Nagar, Falaknuma on Sunday, December 6. The victim, who sustained a deep injury in his abdomen, was declared brought dead at a local hospital. The accused is absconding.

According to a police, Afroz Bin Ahmed, a mechanic used to live on the ground floor with his family, while Firoz and his family lived on the first floor of the same building. Firoz’s family would often throw their garbage down from the first floor, which used to fell right in front of Afroz’s house, leading to the the frequent quarrels between both parties.  Despite repeatedly complaining about their practice, Firoz and his family never stopped throwing waste.

“On Sunday afternoon, Firoz’s wife again threw garbage from top and it fell right in front of the victim’s house. It has lead to a heated argument between the wives of the accused and the victim. Afroz also joined the quarrel. Firoz, who was sleeping at that time, got up hearing his wife’s complaint and went down for a confrontation with the victim. He was carrying a sharp object, either a knife or a screwdriver. He attacked the victim who collapsed in few seconds,” added Falaknuma police inspector Mr K. Kiran Kumar.

The victim received serious injury in his abdomen and when he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared brought dead. Police has booked a case against Firoz for murder and is on the lookout for him.
